Working together to support your patients

At Sandra Cleere Hypnotherapy, I believe the best outcomes are achieved when healthcare professionals work collaboratively.

Hypnotherapy can be a valuable complementary approach for patients experiencing stress, anxiety, weight management challenges, confidence issues, habits and behaviours, motivation difficulties, and lifestyle change goals. It is designed to work alongside appropriate medical care, not replace it.

I welcome referrals from GPs, specialists, psychologists, allied health practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.

Conditions Suitable for Referral

Patients may benefit from hypnotherapy support for:

  • Stress and overwhelm

  • Anxiety and worry

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Weight management

  • Emotional eating and food cravings

  • Motivation and goal achievement

  • Smoking and vaping cessation

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Menopause-related wellbeing support

  • Performance enhancement

  • Habit change and behaviour modification

Referral Process

01

Referral

Healthcare professionals can refer patients by:

  • Emailing a referral letter to sandracleere@gmail.com

  • Providing the patient with my contact details

  • Encouraging the patient to self-refer and mention your recommendation

03

Treatment Plan

A personalised treatment plan is developed based on the patient's goals and circumstances.

Most clients attend between 3 and 6 sessions, although this varies depending on individual needs.

02

Initial Consultation

The patient attends a comprehensive initial consultation where we discuss:

  • Presenting concerns

  • Goals and desired outcomes

  • Relevant medical history

  • Current treatments and support networks

  • Suitability for hypnotherapy

04

Communication

With the patient's written consent, I can provide progress updates to the referring practitioner where appropriate.

Professional Boundaries

Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.

Clients presenting with complex mental health concerns, significant risk factors, or conditions outside my scope of practice will be referred to an appropriate healthcare professional.

I am committed to working within professional and ethical guidelines and maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare providers.
